This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an MLL teacher all resources are essential to execute and meet the needs of my learners. Although students have access to books through YouTube it is not the same experience of holding the book or hearing it come to life from an adult who is wholly invested in you.
Please help provide my classroom with the mentor trade books to support our writing curriculum.
To be a successful reading you need to be a successful writer and with these books I will be able to have my students use beneficial literacy strategies to develop their craft of writing. I am also requesting purple folders to organize their writing from each unit. With these folder the students can store their writing and reflect and celebrate their hard work.
