Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The goal of this program is to provide students with the coping strategies to manage their emotions, create a safe space to share and grow, promote positive healing, and celebrate our school’s diversity through creative expression. For this program to be successful, my students need enrichment tools such as art supplies and sensory items to support with various emotions. We will have different activities for each session such as art, exploration or sensory exploration, normalizing the life differences all students share.

With your donation, I can empower my students to better cope with these unique and difficult challenges that would otherwise not get addressed.
