With such young learners, the classroom needs to be able to have an area for students to release their energy, emotions and a safe place. I am trying to create a save space for students to calm down through movement, visual, textures, and resources needed. Students need to have coping skill. In order to have them, they need to learn them. Through the fidgets, wobble seats, posters, and other tools, I will be able to teach them to be able to handle the difficult moments. Some of the resources are simple ways to calm down before escalation.
