My Project

This project is to create a cart to put in the library with snacks, positive bracelets, stickers, and books that promote and support mental health. This cart will be available for students to enjoy these items while they are in the library. This will help create a safe space for students to come and feel supported and safe.

Books are a great way to connect to our lives and find characters in books that help us feel supported and like we aren't alone!

This is why the majority of this project is for books that focus on mental health struggles that students are dealing with in their lives. This helps the reader feel like they aren't alone in the world. If they are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression and much more, these stories can help them feel connected with someone else's story. The other items (Snack, stickers, bracelets) are for reminders that someone is their to support them in all aspects of their lives!
