This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Stress is something experienced by everyone at some point. My students often times have moments where they feel stressed out, worried, anxious or depressed throughout their formative years in high school. I would love to be able to support my students and their mental health challenges and needs.

I would like to be able to provide my students with mental health self-care journals, fidget toys, water bottles, and other items to support their emotional and overall well-being.

It is our duty to provide all the support we can give to ensure students have an environment that is safe and welcoming. Our students face so many challenges on a regular, we can do our best to make our spaces are loving and secure.
