When we talk about someone's well-being, their mental health is just as important as their physical health. As a school, we work to educate our students to not just make healthy food choices, but healthy life and social choices as well. One way we do this is through our annual field day during Mental Health Awareness Month.
These resources will help to provide our students with the opportunity to engage in physical and intellectual challenges that will also encourage team building and positive relationships with peers.
The potato sacks will be used for a classic potato sack relay race. The mini sports cones and soccer cones will be used to organize the activities and areas for the activities to be held. The juice bottles and clothes pins will be used by teams of students for the "high dive" to see who can drop the most clothes pins in the bottle first. The 3 legged race straps will be used to secure ankles safely for the three-legged race. The eggs and spoons will be used to an egg and spoon race. While the rings will be used for a ring toss game.
