My Project

The snacks will provide students with the nourishment they need to stay energized and focused throughout the day. Many of my students come to class hungry, which makes it difficult for them to concentrate on their studies. By offering healthy snacks, I can eliminate this barrier to learning and help them remain engaged in lessons and activities.

These resources will also help bridge the gap for students who lack access to similar materials at home.

By providing snacks and mental health tools, I can ensure equity in their learning opportunities, creating an environment where every student feels supported academically and emotionally.

The mental health journals, paired with encouraging prompts, will serve as a valuable tool for students to process their emotions, reflect on their experiences, and develop positive coping strategies. For example, during morning check-ins or at the end of the day, students can use these journals to write about their goals, challenges, and achievements. This practice will promote self-awareness and emotional well-being, equipping them with skills that extend beyond the classroom.
