Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A lot of our students do not have the means for a simple snack and often times they find themselves in need of an early morning or afternoon snack. I am looking for additional support to ensure all my students have a safe space to unwind, talk, or just sit quietly with meditation music. If they find themselves a little hungry I would love to have the ability to have snacks for all. I also want to further support my students in their social emotional growth and development. I want to make the space safe and welcoming for all and share positive affirmations with all my students.
