This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students do well with mental health breaks during the day. A lot of them have trauma and difficult home life. The snacks, games, fidget toys, and coloring books will help give them a break. It helps them take a minute to relax and decompress. These will help them relax during a stressful day to be able to get back to class.

I try to create a comfortable environment in my office so students feel safe and welcome.

I want all students to feel like they have a safe space in school.
