My Project

My calm reading corner needs a few more tools. I want to provide floor seating, surrounded by words of affirmation posters, where my students can take a mental break from daily pressure. I have built in reading time in my English classroom, and I want students to feel at home in this corner. Students sit in hard chairs in most of their classes, but I want mine to be welcoming and inviting. These tools will help make my classroom even more homey and welcoming, allowing students a bit of time for a mental recharge. I want them to be able to journal in this quiet corner.
