My Project
It is important when teaching students with a variety of disabilities, that I have a variety of materials that can reach each student and help provide them with necessary learning tools. The materials that I have asked for, such as an iPad, fidget pop blocks, colored paper, cardstock, magnetic letters, art canvas, and printer ink will allow me to have the opportunity to meet the needs of all of my students. My students have also been asking me if we can see butterflies go through their life cycle since that is something that we have been learning about. This would be such a wonderful activity for them to experience firsthand!
As a Special Education teacher, it is my job to understand that if they cannot learn the way I teach, then I need to teach the way that they learn.
This is why all of these materials are so important and special to our classroom environment. Especially with it coming to the end of the year, I would love to give them a memorable remainder of the school year!
