My Project
This project is for an Annual Premium Digital and Print Membership to the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Membership with this organization will not only help me with continuing the work of amplifying the voices of marginalized students with disabilities. However, I am also able to access up-to-date literature ranging from a variety of educational topics such as restorative justice, effective leadership, and best social-emotional practices.
I have been teaching for 20 years, and every now and then, trends are established, and previous practices become obsolete.
This is currently happening in terms of reading acquisition among students. Membership with ASCD will also provide me with opportunities to engage in professional development opportunities, conferences, and chances to respond to calls for proposals. All of which will continue to support new instructional practices centered around special education.
