Help me give my students the opportunity to share mathematical strategies for learning by using easel pads around the room. Students will visually engage with math concepts by displaying large-scale problems promoting interactive learning.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Using easel pads around the room for math activities allows students to visually engage with math concepts by displaying large-scale problems, number lines, graphs, or geometric shapes, promoting interactive learning.
Students can contribute and see the progression of solutions together as a class.
This can be done through activities like working on collaborative strategies, solving problems in groups on different pads to help students examine their reasoning and revise their thinking.
Students will then have a deeper understanding of concepts taught and be able to apply these strategies when needed.
