This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are bright, energetic, and eager to learn. They deserve to have a library that reflects their interests and tastes when it comes to recreational reading. Research shows that recreational reading is a significant indicator of student success in all subjects. Students love to read when you give them something they want to read! Over the last year or two, our library has seen a significant increase in students checking out Manga titles. Adding to our Manga collection will give more students the opportunity to read for fun and pleasure.
