What I Love About My Students

I love my students for their curiosity, their resilience, and the unique light each one brings into our classroom.

They are more than just learners—they are whole people with big dreams, real challenges, and hearts that deserve to feel safe, seen, and supported. That’s why I strive to meet their needs far beyond academics.

A giant rug will provide a cozy space for class discussions, quiet reading, or simply a moment to breathe. A well-stocked bookshelf invites imagination and reflection, helping students discover stories that mirror their own and broaden their world. Healthy snacks and a mini fridge ensure no one has to learn on an empty stomach. These are small touches that make a big difference, helping me create a classroom that feels more like a second home—a place where every student knows they matter.

This project will help me meet my students' needs, academic and otherwise, throughout the entire school year.
