Students were able to build historical structures like the Trevi Fountain, represent important ideas and events like the Italian Renaissance and Chinese New Year, and work together to demonstrate their understanding of the topics we studied. These activities gave students another way to connect with history beyond reading a textbook, completing a worksheet, or taking notes.\r\n\r\nJust as importantly, LEGO Lunch Bunch provided students with a positive and welcoming environment where they could build confidence, strengthen their self-esteem, and practice teamwork. Students worked together, shared ideas, solved problems, and encouraged one another. It was wonderful to see students who may not always feel confident academically find opportunities to be creative, contribute to their group, and take pride in what they created.\r\n\r\nYour support helped make learning more engaging and meaningful for my students.
