My Project

Six of our junior scholars have an incredible opportunity for a life and work experience, where they will create lasting bonds and make connections with others in the program. However, they must supply their own materials.

This project will equip our students with the things they need for this amazing experience.

Our students are nervous about the upfront costs of this program. This project will boost their mental health by providing them with their initial needs, so they can use their time and energy to prepare versus worrying. Some of the items will support their basic hygiene (toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, tissues), linen requirements (towels), and teach them valuable life skills like laundry (laundry detergent, hangers). Snacks will ensure they have the energy and nutrition to complete their tasks.
