Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After the pandemic, my students have become passive learners in all areas possible. I desire to make my students active learners and responsible for their own education. This project will help my students to get up and move, sit in flexible seating and be active participants in the classroom by helping meet their basic needs so they can learn!

I feel that if the basic needs and desires of students are met, we will have more successful learning.

Thus, providing paper, folders, highlighters, badaids, books, etc., keeps students successful.This classroom project will provide materials for students to use in creative written projects, active annotating and other stations to get students up and moving.

My heart behind this is to make students more engaged in the classroom and take some form of responsibility in their learning. My students desire to learn while being active and out of their seats. These materials will allow for students to show their creative self in the best ways possible.

This project will help students by providing new grammar practice books, white out to fix mistakes, sit in chairs that allow them to move, and ways to keep themselves organized. This project also has some books and resources students have been requesting to raise engagement. Having new books and resources to keep them successful such as pens, pencils, staples, bandaids, personal folders & highlighters.
