Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help my students and fellow educators feel welcome and at home in an enjoyable space. Having extra folding chairs is always essential to ensure that everyone feels welcome and has a seat at the table.
Creating a space in my office with a table and chairs where people feel that they can meet regularly and feel that they are always welcome is absolutely essential.
A meeting board is always welcome to show whatever activities we are doing that day or week, and it will invite all of our members to ensure that they are aware of the goals of any meeting.
Having a file cabinet ready so that students and members are able to find resources easily is very important to make sure that our office space is comfortable, welcoming, and accessible.
