My Project
Incorporating choice making into educational practices aligns with research findings that show improvements in student engagement and behavior when students are offered opportunities to make choices. This strategy not only benefits all students but is particularly valuable for those with disabilities or at risk for challenging behaviors, as it empowers them to actively participate in their learning process and build essential skills for academic success. Students who benefit from choice making strategies in education are unique individuals with diverse needs, preferences, and abilities. What makes these students special is their potential for growth, development, and success when provided with opportunities to make choices that align with their interests and capabilities. Each student brings a distinct set of strengths and challenges to the learning environment, requiring personalized approaches to support their academic progress. Students will be able to have clothing to come to school and get a education to succeed in the future.
