Meeting Our Social Emotional Needs

My Students

My students are a diverse group of learners who all have different learning styles and needs. We are a family and I have been with these students for several years. We are 21st century learners who need updated new materials and options that will meet our current classroom needs.

While we learn in small groups, my students need to be able to have support stations in which they can meet their social/emotional needs and sensory needs which will enhance their personal learning experience.

My Project

The resources included in this project will meet the vast needs of my students. My students need new sensory materials that will help with busy hands and anxious minds. The stretchy sand and water beads will put minds at ease.

New engaging classroom books focused on social emotional learning will help students build their social skills.

They will learn about their emotions and be able to express them in a safe, correct manner. These stories assist in making my students positive members of the community.

My students also need practice in demonstrating mastery of reading and writing skills and the new workbooks will help showcase those skills.
