This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items selected will make a difference in my classroom because providing students with snacks can be used as an award and improve classroom behaviors. It can also be provided to students that need food through that day or even an incentive for students working hard and following expectations in the classroom. Flexible seating will increase the classroom environment by allowing students the opportunity for flexible seating.
By purchasing a wobble stool and comfy floor seat, it allows students the opportunity to move with a purpose to best fit their needs in the classroom.The supplies will allow students to be provided with their needs to be successful in the classroom such as pencils and whiteboard erasers.The fidget items are to assist students with ADHD or maybe those having an emotional need that could benefit from having a support fidget.
These items will help my students thrive in school, because not all students have the luxury of receiving these basic needs from home, to be prepared and ready for school.
