Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a 3rd grade ENL class that consists of 27 ENL learners who are so ambitious and grateful for any support they receive. Since my students are English language learners, I try my best to help them excel in mathematics especially since math translates over into their native language. In order to provide the best instruction possible additional supports are needed to provide extra practice.
These math workbooks will help provide extra support to the curriculum and help provide students with extra practice to achieve grade level excellence.
ENL learners have many challenges they have to overcome learning the language, learning how to read and all grade level content material to provide them with a schema for success. These materials will help provide continual support in an area where most of my students feel comfortable and their parents can support their learners as well.
