My Students

Our school is located in Missouri. We are a very small and tight-knit school! Everyone knows each individual, we rely on each other for many things throughout the school year.

We have a tremendous amount of school spirit!

We thoroughly enjoy helping each other out! It is a community in so many ways! We are a low poverty title 1 school but we have the best support system. It just leaves very little for the "extras" that many teachers need and want!

My Project

During these rough times of the Covid-19 pandemic, all teachers are looking for ways to impact their students' distance learning. I teach in a high poverty Title 1 school in which most of the students do not have internet access so in order to meet their academic needs we have been trying to find appropriate resources to meet their needs. These magazines are the perfect resource, they do not take a lot of time and keep the students engaged all the while they are learning! They make a great addition to any lesson!
