I have a classroom full of amazing little learners. They are curious, energetic, very social, and eager to learn. I've found that they work wonderfully together when they have opportunities to explore, converse, and create together. They also LOVE having technology incorporated into their learning. We are a Title One school located in a small rural town in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Our school is 100% free breakfast and lunch due to the number of low income families that attend our school.
My students have a love for learning and I want to help cultivate that by giving them fun and advanced learning materials.
My Project
The Echo provides endless opportunities to enhance learning. My students will be able to ask her questions, like how to spell a word or what the answer to a math problem is so they can self-check. They'll be able to use it during math centers, because it's capable of rolling a dice, flipping a card, picking a random number, and even flipping a coin so that students can play math games with it! It can even provide definitions. I've got a group of very curious young children that have are full of wonderful questions! I'm only one person though and can't answer every single question my students have, but with Alexa they'll be able to ask her to get an answer! It can play music for us and be our time keeper.....The possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!
