My Students

Our school is full of bright and unique individuals. Each and every one of our students has​ different needs and wants. The kids and staff accept each other, which makes for an exciting and eventful time at our school! Our students are from an urban, low-income area. They have the biggest hearts, but sometimes they don't show it in appropriate ways. I think that our students have amazing possibilities in life. If they could just try to accomplish the tasks at hand, they can do it!

My Project

The love of learning is created by using all of the senses. Having a visually stimulating learning environment is crucial to developing young minds. The visual representation of a STEAM environment in the central gathering place in the classroom will help to pull all the aspects of the room together.

This can be accomplished by having a classroom that catches the eye of every student in the room.

This colorful, creative carpet will engage the students while providing a comfortable meeting space.

Enhancing our STEAM environment with this carpet will provide us a cozy place to build relationships while incorporating STEAM into our every day!
