Hello! I am an instructor for Health Science in the Career Technology Department. teach my kids a variety of health care related skills and procedures as well as about health careers and health care administration.
Here at my school, a large part of this health care education involves the use of Medical Terms.
I currently have classes of 25 kids and only have four Medical Dictionaries for them to use. I would love to have more of these for their use in the classroom for projects and papers. Also a high percentage of our kids are Spanish speaking. I would love to have Spanish Medical dictionaries for their use as well. I believe that our students would prosper with these resources.
My Project
Our students are getting ready to go into health careers and need to know their medical terms to be competitive at the college level.
We will use these medical dictionaries to further their understanding of reading and writing in medical language.
We will also use these for medical based projects on health careers and vital signs like blood pressure, heart rate, temperature and respiration.
Spanish medical dictionaries will also help our variety of Spanish speaking students from many different countries.
