My students need Storyworks Magazine. This magazine provides well-written text that engages students in reading.
This project expired on July 26, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are very active learners who love to participate in hands-on learning. They are eager to gain new knowledge about anything and everything. They are always engaged with each other and desire to share what they are learning with anyone who will listen.
My school is a place where students love learning and teachers love teaching.
Parents work hard to provide for and support their child's education. The focus of everything at our school is what is best for children. We are currently working to engage students in school with the use of technology, which is a life skill students need to be successful in society.
Storyworks magazine will incorporate science and social studies content into language arts. The subscriptions will encourage students to digest the news through engaging activities and stories.
Storyworks magazine will make learning authentic and relative to students, which will engage them in activities.
This engagement empowers students to take ownership of their learning which maximizes learning potential.
Storyworks will provide practice of core skills while promoting critical thinking through authentic learning activities. The subscriptions include rich lesson plans, student activity sheets and online access to videos. It also provides audio access and various other ways for teachers to differentiate learning for students.
