A love of learning develops in Kindergarten.
Students in Kinder are like flowers ready to bloom. I look forward to a beautiful flower garden by the end of a school year.
Our school is a country school. We are a school of the arts. We read Scholastic News throughout this year. I am looking forward to keeping my students reading nonfiction next year. This helps promote Media Literacy.
Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I may remember. Involve me and I learn. ~~Ben Franklin~~
My Project
We are a country school. Reading Scholastic News has brought so much excitement into our classroom this year. We want to continue reading the nonfiction magazine in our class next school year.
My students love reading nonfiction!
Scholastic News brings nonfiction reading into students' lives. We have lessons in the classroom. Then, they get to take the magazines home to share with their families. Using Scholastic News helps promote media literacy.
Thank you so much for bringing more nonfiction into my Kindergarten student's lives. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for promoting media literacy in the classroom.
