Help me give my students an oxygen gas sensor so we can perform respiration and photosynthesis experiments online together.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students include a large percentage of English language learners. They are eager to learn. However, they can struggle with scientific terminology and conceptual learning.
To improve their learning experience, my students need differentiated lessons, visuals, and direct involvement.
The needs of my students are more difficult to meet during remote learning, such as hands-on activities and experimentation. Involvement in science, rather than passive learning, can help these kids greatly.
My Project
This air sensor will allow students to participate in remote experiments, so they don't miss out on that critical part of biology class!
Animals use oxygen, and plants make it.
So this oxygen sensor will let my students see the changes in real-time!
This will be used to help my students understand how photosynthesis and respiration work. I can lead experiments and students watch the data stream on a live updating graph alongside the experimental setup. Students need this kind of real lab experience so they can exercise their scientific thinking and analysis skills!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
