My Project

Students learn best through hands on experiences. With our schools growing population sometimes educational supplies are tight, outdated, or best suited for older grades. Kindergarten aged childen need materials that are just right for gentle hands, young eyes, and curious minds.

Please help my classroom learn about mass, weight, and measurement with a hands-on learning lab!

We need balances, scales, and manipulatives to help us explore concepts of light, heavy, and equal to.

My students would love seeing a scale move up and down as they change the weight. Sometimes other scales aren't as reactive. A pan balance is perfect for kinder! With MORE supplies donated from you, each student will get to be an active participant in this lesson. Plus, having a clear bowl in the balance enables the children to see through it, watch and investigate, thinking up new and innovative ideas. The pan balance I am requesting might be just right. We might even add liquids or earth materials. Is slime heavier than sand? Is chocolate milk lighter than white milk? Let’s investigate! These pan balances would make a fabulous addition to our classroom for many years to come. My teachers and I would be very thankful. We would love your support and be very appreciative! Please consider helping out my students.
