My Students

We have the best student body in the state. They come from a small town, small community atmosphere where everyone knows everyone. This allows us to be more personable and caring with everyone here. Our student population consists of over 50% receiving free and reduced-price lunch. Our students exceed expectations.

Our students are raised with core beliefs that enable them to be important people in our society.

Many people across the country talk about Midwest core values. The students here exemplify this.

My Project

I have always wanted to be accurate with our glazing here at school. I remember learning how to do this but we have never had the resources to accomplish this here. Our glazing has been a struggle for many years now and it is time to step up my game as a teacher.

We are ready to dive into the science of glazing in the art department.

This is a great opportunity for students to understand the great detail that goes into glazing and the chemical makeups of them. We will measure weights and densities of our glazes which will determine what outcomes we have. This will help us understand what we will get more often from our glazes.
