Measurement and Mail in the Dramatic Play Post Office!
Help me give my students a mailbox, stamps, digital scale and other materials for a hands-on experience for a project on measurement and the US mail system!
My students love our dramatic play center. In an upcoming unit, we will learn different ways to measure length, weight, and temperature. Students will also learn how to write letters and their home address with the mailbox, stamps, digital scale and other materials.
By learning through play, my students will have a hands on, real life experience of what a working post office is like with these materials!
Students will learn how to sort, weigh, and label packages. They will learn how to write letters, address envelopes, put a stamp on them, and really get to send them through the mail!
