This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in downtown Phoenix. We are in need of basic materials for our afternoon WIN time. This instructional time is designed to provide students with "What I Need" instruction to support their core academic classes. With students doing a lot of sitting in the morning, we would love to see the students up out of their desks and moving around the classroom. One of our ideas is to provide a spiral time where students can practice problems of the past. We need new clipboards so students can move around the classroom solving problems with their classmates. This is also year six with our protractors. Many protractors are cracked and warped. We need new protractors to practice our linear graphing strategies. We appreciate any donations to our classroom.
