Help me give my students some fun and engaging math games during center time.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. McCoy's classroom raised $351

My Students
All of my students love learning but their ability levels vary greatly. I have a class of 20 with 4 students who are in special education. Their diverse backgrounds include some with regular exposure to books and others with little to no "out of the classroom" experience. The majority of my students have a challenging and difficult home life. The school is a Title I school that has over 90% of the population is low income. We also have a large foster care population.
The school is a public school in an urban community.
Recently, the school district suffered a deficit and all of its schools suffered a financial loss including loss of vital staff members and lack of school supplies. Most of the students only come to school supplied with pencils, crayons, and a few composition books that will need to be replenished by mid-year.
My Project
Our math supplies are very limited. We lack full class sets of each math manipulative. Due to this, we do lots of sharing. It is also a very tedious task to try and create my own math supplies using laminated paper.
These math centers would make it easier for me to teach small groups while the others work independently.
With these games, students can easily work independently or cooperatively for additional practice to boost their knowledge of basic operations. The goal is for every student to be fluent in addition and subtraction to 1,000 by 3rd grade. Please help us reach this goal.
