This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Over the past couple of years we have put our Math work stations on hold to try and keep our students as safe as possible. As we are becoming more and more comfortable with the way things are, I would love to be able to revamp our guided math stations.
Guided Math is a great way for students to be engaged with the Math content and to work with their peers.
These markers, pencils, dice and other supplies will help me create meaningful stations and activities for my students to use. The stations will cover standards from the whole school year as well as review what they have learned in second grade. I am hoping that this will be a good way to keep my students excited for Math! I want to switch up our instruction to make sure that my students are successful and love to learn!
