This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an amazing group of first grade students. They come to school each morning for the love and safety they feel in our classroom. It is exciting to watch the lightbulbs turn on in their heads when they grasp a new skill. As their teacher, I want to provide them with all the resources they need to be successful in our classroom.

Hands-on math manipulatives will help my students comprehend abstract math concepts in concrete ways.

I am requesting magnetic demonstration manipulatives that can be used to introduce new concepts during whole class instruction. These materials will help my students understand how to use their own manipulatives to complete their independent assignments.
