My Students

My third grade classroom is a blended learning environment in which students are working cooperatively in differentiated learning groups. My class is not only provided direct instruction but also hands-on activities which also incorporate technology.

In order to provide recording stations for each subject area, this mini iPad would provide the support needed.

We record our literature circle meetings, math collaboration, reading fluency and other presentations that we have throughout the year. We upload these recordings onto an online site which allows students and their families to view their work.

My Project

This Mini iPad would assist my students in providing a differentiated classroom learning environment. It would greatly benefit all of my students and provide engaging classroom instruction. The iPad will help promote my blended learning classroom by providing my students with ample resources in order to not only meet the third grade curriculum, but also enrich and reinforce concepts needed to help all of my students' individual needs. We would be using this in our math class to record collaboration station problem solving with peers. We would also use this in our reading class to record students' fluency. Our class incorporates recording students' social studies and science tasks to upload onto seesaw.me as well.
