This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is comprised of students who are struggling learners and have experienced failure in the past. Not only do we work to make learning engaging, but we also aim to provide holistic services to our students and their families to ensure not just academic success but also to work show our students their multiple pathways.
Social-emotional learning and self-exploration is a key component to supporting our students growth.
Ensuring our students are confident, can advocate for themselves and know who they are will encourage them to identify the pathway that will not only help them find a career, but become an active and productive member of society.
