My Project

Children enter prekindergarten at a crucial phase where they are struggling to learn about their multiple identities. Who am I? How is school like my family and community? Do I fit in?

I am me, you are you, and it's wonderful that way; these books will also be used for teaching children about embracing diversity, equity, and social justice.

These books will help my students understand their ideas, thoughts, and feelings about themselves. When children understand themselves, it helps them understand others.

Through these books, children will learn that each of them is special and that differences are good. They will also learn that everyone has the right to be treated fairly. Help me build a better world for my children!
