My Students

My classes are made up of fourth grade students who attend a public school in suburban Florida. Many of these students are from low income families with limited resources at home.

We continue to reach for the stars and make learning an adventure.

As a school and community, we all work together to give each student a high-quality education, while broadening their horizons. By incorporating hands-on lessons, participating in community projects, and providing after school club opportunities, our students can reach for the stars.

My Project

The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in fourth grade Mathematics.

With these new books, my students will be able to review and prepare for the upcoming Math FSA, while interacting with each other and enjoying the STAR WARS program I have created for them in my classroom.

These curriculum-based exercises and activities are aligned with national standards and our fourth grade curriculum. These books will also afford my students the opportunity to work independently to better realize the math skills that they are missing. I also plan on to laminate each page, so that I am able to reuse these books year after year.
