Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This grand and sweeping project again seeks to teach students about current events that affect their lives, climate change, and the environment. Empowering children to take action via climate change art is hands-on and engaging. For students ages 4-12, I will inspire wonder in the awe of nature and their environment and show students that the simplest things we do have a huge effect on our planet for better or worse.

Through art, students will show the science of climate change and show how important it is for people to create solutions and spread the word on how to help save the Earth.

Through creative art projects, students will convey the power of personal action. Using the medium of papier mache, and bleeding tissue paper to make Earth sculptures. Also, collage activist posters to save the Earth will inspire students.
