This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach fifth graders that belong to different backgrounds and ethnicities in San Jose, California. My students are enthusiastic, inquisitive, and inquiring learners who love to come to school each day. They are remarkably inspired to learn and do their best in school.
I teach at an exceptional, diverse, and distinctive school in California where more than 71% of students receive free and reduced-price lunch.
My students speak many different languages like Spanish, Vietnamese, Greek, Tagalog or Dutch at home. We always celebrate the things that make us different, and the things that make us the same. This wonderful class is a family at school.
My Project
Each of my students come with a joy to learn and become productive in class. At this time of the year, I would like them to have the independence to work with Post-it Super Sticky Chart Paper in my classroom. Having this tool in class saves time since we do not have to look for either magnets or tape to stick the paper somewhere.
This type of paper sticks anywhere to capture a moment of collaborative group or build ideas to create a piece of writing.
I visualize my students brainstorming, presenting, or just tracking a project.
