Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Moving to a new school this academic year, I wasn't sure of how my new teaching space or new students' needs would be. My resource room is a small office, and we are struggling to find the space to move and learn.

My amazing 1st, 2nd and 5th graders have boundless energy and love for learning.

The bouncy chairs would give them an appropriate outlet for some of their sensory needs, while still allowing them to stay focused and participate in small group lessons.

The new reading games and learning tools will increase our opportunities for multi-sensory learning and keep students engaged and focused. The prizes will stock my prize box that students earn tickets for throughout the week. This is part of our classroom management plan!

The size and needs of my groups are changing weekly, and new materials to accommodate all my levels of learners would be a game changer!
