My Students

I have twenty-six adorable first graders that are already world changers! They come from a variety of backgrounds in a small town just north of Charlotte, North Carolina. As a class, we started off the school by setting goals and determining what we want to accomplish this year.

The students have made it one of their goals to grow as learners this year so they will be ready for second grade and continue to make a difference in our world.

My Project

We are lucky enough to have several iPads to use in our classroom. We use iPads every day during small group time in our classroom where students learn reading and math content on iPad apps. Unfortunately, our iPads are only good if they are charged and the students can hear the content they are using on their iPads! A charging station will help us ensure our iPads are charged and extra pairs of headphones will help make sure every student in our classroom is able to listen to their iPad!
