My students are so sweet and eager to soak up all the knowledge they can. They are a diverse group of learners. My students come from many different backgrounds. I would love to give all of my students the resources they need to be successful!
My Project
For this project I have asked for a few things that will help keep my classroom full of positivity and fun! The tabletop spinning wheel will have different prizes written on each part that students that earn a spin can win! I will change up the rewards often to keep kiddos on their toes! The visual timer will be used when we are doing timed test, like our math fact test. This will allow students to be able to check, visually, how much time remains. The wireless doorbell will be used as an attention getter. I will wear this at all times and when I need the class to give me their attention I will "ring" the doorbell. I have asked for a variety of cards. Some of these cards will be used as thank you notes to students/parents, some are "I miss you" notes for when students are out and our class misses them. I have also asked for some "shout out" cards. These will be for when I see acts of kindness, great behavior, or anything I can put a positive spin on. I will fill out the card and give to the student to take home and show their guardian. The rest of the items will either go in my treasure chest or be used for birthday bags!
