Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, we have a common vision goal of reading aloud to my students on a daily basis in the morning. This project will help my students close the literacy gap in a fun engaging way. My students will earn a token and in turn, will select a book from the vending machine. The Bookworm vending machine will be part of our Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports for all students at our school The books from the vending machine will be used as a read-aloud in the morning.

The Inchy Bookworm Vending machine will also be used in my classroom to reward students for good behavior, good grades, and good attendance.

This project will enhance all students' reading skills in order to be successful in the future. Please help us bring the Inchy Bookworm Machine to our school, so students can enjoy a variety of texts.
