My Students

Working on concluding their first decade of life, with so many experiences yet to have. Our classroom is a magical place, we are creating many tomorrows.

I've seen eyes dancing, knee's bouncing and hearts racing as my 5th grade students are exposed to hands on science activities and a variety of literature.

By nature students gravitate to certain subjects and types of literature. Creating a classroom environment where students can read different genres as a class is inspiring. It takes them to another time period which exposes them to worlds they may never be part of.

After experiencing new phenomenon and uniques observations, my students may choose career they never before consider. Who knows what they'll invent and discover as a result of what happens in our classroom.

My Project

Our fifth-graders will increase their engagement as they learn to measure the mass of substances before and after physical and chemical changes. This will allow them to learn through experiences to bring science and their study of matter to life! These scales will allow our class to work in small groups so students will have more opportunities to participate in hands-on science activities.

These materials, scales, and burners, will allow students to create earthquake structures that will withstand an earthquake.

Students will improve because they will be able to understand the principles being taught through the science experiments. We need these supplies!
