My Students
I work with 26 fabulous 5th grade students each day! My students work hard daily to learn and grow in a variety of ways. They love to read, tell stories, laugh, create, and enjoy science experiments and labs.

This is something we talk about in my classroom. There are many different ways to accomplish this goal. The first step is by being or becoming a lifelong learner. This is something I work hard to instill in students.
I want to create an environment where students feel they can take risks, try new things, and not be afraid to be wrong. As Elbert Hubbard said, "There is no failure except in no longer trying." We choose to keep trying!
My Project
I am requesting a few book series for my students as well as some math games and activities. My students need some math games and activities for the classroom that focus on word problems. This is an area they need more practice in for math. I requested several math items that will help my students practice solving word problems.
I also love the idea of having a complete book series in the classroom.
This way my students can continue the journey of reading a book series all the way through. My students love Harry Potter, and I would love to have the complete series in the classroom. I think it's important for students to have access to great books and great math materials in the classroom.
These items would be so beneficial for my students, not only this year but for years to come.
