it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are excited learners ready to push themselves to learn new things every day. I am a math/science teacher in Houston, Texas. I want my student to learn through the use of guided math stations and project-based learning.
Hands-on learning helps develop a love for math and science while also helping develop lifelong learners.
Learning should be fun and push students to be challenged and develop critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skills will help my students be strong problem solvers.
My Project
We will be using math games, printer ink, and flexible seating options (cushion, comfy floor seats, and yoga ball) for math and science projects. The math games, pop math, flash math, kanoodle, and gravity maze will be used in guided math stations to make our classroom learning fun and exciting.
With guided math stations and project-based learning, my students will develop a concrete understanding and critical thinking skills needed for math and science.
This will help develop a love for math and science throughout my student's educational career. I want to make math fun and accessible for my students so that as they get older, and the math content gets tougher they have a good foundation to draw upon.
